About Me!
My name is Robin Daniels and I am currently a Junior at Kansas State University majoring in Secondary Education with an emphasis in mathematics. I began my Kansas State career as an Engineering major but quickly realized that I was not as passionate/driven towards that as I was about math. I am involved with a campus ministry, Christian Challenge at K-State which has allowed me to meet other believers and dive deeper into my faith. I also am a Teaching Assistant here at Kansas State, helping with a college algebra studio. This has allowed me to somewhat develop a teaching style and learn how to teach many different topics. I love it thus far! All together, K-State has been a great experience for me and I can't wait to begin more education classes!
I grew up in Garrison, TX but moved to Concordia, KS when I was 11. Since most of my family lives in either Kansas or Missouri, we decided that we wanted to move closer to them. I attended Concordia Jr/Sr High School and graduated in 2015. My dream is to teach 8th/9th grade math. Ideally, I would like to work in the Kansas City area because most of my family lives in or around there. I love to go hiking, swimming and I like to play softball. I'm a huge animal fanatic and therefore would love to have multiple dogs at some point in my life.
Family is a very important part of my life. My mom is a teacher and is one of the biggest inspirations to me. My dad is one of my greatest supporters and I can talk to him about anything. My sister, Emily, is a senior in High School and is like my best friend. I also have a dog and a cat whom I miss very much as well.
